What's Work.com

Work.com helps business owners and operators find the most useful Web resources for common business tasks. We help you get things done faster and smarter.

At Work.com, we believe the Web is the greatest resource for entrepreneurs ever created, and it enables many exciting new services that could never have existed offline. Complex tasks as varied as creating a new logo, exploring franchise opportunities or setting up a video conference are made infinitely easier because of Web-based services. Still, it's difficult to identify the best sites and be confident in knowing how to use them. That's why we've created Work.com: a site comprised of more than 1,000 How-to Guides, written by business experts. How-to Guides are straightforward, quick-read descriptions of how to get something done, and where on the Web are the best places to help you check tasks off your to-do list. A How-to Guide might be as foundational as finding financing your startup, or as specific as how to incorporate, or how to pick the best time-and-attendance software.

Best of all, Work.com is entirely free.

Work.com is also a community of business people like you, and we invite you to participate. Each How-to Guide has a rating for how useful it is to real users, and you can add your rating to share how useful our Guides are to you. Guides also have an area for comments - an open discussion where users tell how they got it done, add favorite resources for that topic, or pose a question. You can also suggest topics for new Guides, or share your experience and expertise by creating a Guide of your own.

The links below provide more information on how to get the most value out of Work.com, and how to contribute your own expertise to make it even better.
