Toggle switches are electrical switches that are activated by a mechanical lever or handle. The most well-known devices operated by toggle switches are light switches. However, toggle switches can be used for a variety of items that require electrical switches, from automobiles to guitar amplifiers. Maintained contact toggle switches are configured to support a variety of positions, including on/off, three-position center-off and three-position no center-off. Switch functions for momentary contact toggle switches include momentary on, momentary off, three-position momentary center-on, three-position momentary center-off and three-position momentary central-neutral.
