Be very careful about the location and size of the stand that you choose to ensure that it is cost effective and will get plenty of exposure I have found that being polite to the event organizers when booking is a great way to get the best location at the event without paying through the roof. Ask to see the floor plan with the stand numbers including where the main entrances are
Get the correct sized bags and covers if you intend to bring along your own display equipment Get the correct sized banners and pictures to fit onto your displays DON'T FORGET THE VELCRO!
