When I went from 4 people on a team to just one person I knew it was time for me to get more TECHY. Having been around computers since 1972 I decided to develop more skills with my Blackberry and had all my different email addresses point to it.
Now, from any place at any time I can stay on top of my game. In real estate the clients think you only work with one at a time and don't realize all the balls you are juggling with buyers, sellers, mortgage, title, other agents, etc that all need answers, communication, documents, etc.
I just upgraded to a Curve Blackberry and love the features. It is expensive but well worth every penny. While out running errands with my 3.5 year old Granddaughter I am able to be in contact and not miss an opportunity. She knows to wait while Nana has a business call.
Step up - take the opportunity to be the best you can be - use advanced technology!
1. CALL your cell provider.
2. Make the change at the time your contract is almost up - you'll get discounted pricing.
3. Push to not have an EXTENTION on your contract - some firms are doing that now per MONEY MAGAZINE.
My next step is to go paperless with the calendar...that will take some doing.
(PS - I sold my old phones in one day to offset the cost.)
