Track your conversions on the other search engines (cross channel)
Start Tracking Your Other Online Ads
I recommend: 1. Go to "campaign management" of your live Google campaign.
2. Go to "conversion tracking".
3. Under the header "cross channel tracking" click "create new".
4. Click on "other online ads" and hit "continue".
5. Name your campaign.
So, for Business.com, this would be the "listing" name of your ad. For example: "HR Software".
6. Type in the destination URL. Where are you sending the traffic too on that particualr ad? Do not put the HTTP part.
7. Click "continue".
#1 Copy and paste all of this Javascript in the box onto the source code of your landing page. This will be where you are sending the traffic to. I recommend putting the code at the header.
#2 Copy and paste the GAD code in this box onto the destination URL of your ad. (In Business.com, you would go to "edit listing" of your ad to override what is currently in the destination url with this new Google GAD code.
8. Go back to Google and test setup, congrats, you are done!
